Victorian government schools must teach the standard curriculum to all students for free. Schools may invite parents to make a financial contribution to support the school.
College Council reviews the request for Voluntary Financial Contributions each year to ensure they are in line with the Department’s Parent Payment Policy.
The College can request contributions from parents under three categories
The College will also invite parents to purchase/supply educational items for their child to use and own (e.g. textbooks, stationery and digital devices)
Booklists and Voluntary Financial Contributions are shared with our parent community via Compass and are also available on the College website.
As part of the Bannockburn College ethos, we look to provide the best educational opportunities for all children. The ongoing support of our families in making these payments supplies the funds necessary to assist our College in providing necessary teaching and curriculum resources to support all students in their learning and ensure a high quality and engaging education for all our students
