School Chaplaincy

The Bannockburn College Chaplaincy program aims to improve the emotional wellbeing of children and develop their sense of community connectedness.

Daniel Ballinger is our College Chaplain. Daniel is employed on a part-time basis under the National School Chaplaincy Program.

As the College Chaplain, Daniel supports the emotional wellbeing of students by providing pastoral care services and strategies that support emotional wellbeing.

Daniel is also a qualified teacher, with teaching experience. Daniel works alongside the wellbeing team and other allied health staff to support Bannockburn students’ emotional, social and educational outcomes.

Daniel is passionate about supporting every student at Bannockburn college to be happy, healthy and safe.

Chaplaincy Service

The chaplaincy service is made available to all students via the College referral process, please see your child’s Homegroup teacher for the appropriate forms should you wish for your child to use this service.

Service Provided

The Chaplaincy service provides the school community with support on human relationship and wellbeing issues. This includes providing support for grief, family breakdown and other crisis situations. The Chaplaincy service compliments and enhances the inclusive and caring environment of the school.

The Chaplaincy program is funded by the Commonwealth Government under the National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program
