School Zone / Boundary Map
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria. Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
Foundation (Prep)
The Department of Education (DoE) has released a new state-wide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Bannockburn P-12 College.
The new timeline will apply for children starting Prep in 2027. All government primary schools will follow the timeline in 2026 to support Prep enrolments for the 2027 school year.

You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Prep 2027 at Bannockburn P-12 College from 20 April 2025.
What you need to do
- Contact our school on 03 5281 1755 to book a tour or to learn more about our college and the enrolment application process, follow Facebook for the information session details.
- Download the Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) (available from 20 April 2026)
- Download the ‘Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents/Carers for the 2027 school year’ (available to download from the start of Term 2, 2026).
- Submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 31 July 2026
- You will be notified of the outcome of your application by Friday 14 August 2026. If you receive an offer of placement, please return the enrolment form included in your information pack
- Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2026
- Your child will start Foundation (Prep) from Thursday 28 January 2027.
Enrolment applications submitted after 31 July 2026 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.

2027 Year 7
Current Bannockburn College Year 6 students automatically transition into Year 7.
The 2027 Year 7 College Tour and information session for students enrolling in 2027 will be held on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 from 5:15-7:15pm.
New students complete the “Application for Year 7 Placement for 2027” form provided by your current primary school in April and select “Bannockburn College” as your first preference.
Completed forms are due to be returned to your current primary school on on Wednesday 24th June 2026.
Your current primary school will notify you of your placement for Year 7 on 16th July 2026.
The 2026 Year 7 Parent Information Session for students intending to attend the College in 2027. Dates T.B.C essential information for all 2027 Year 7 students and their families.
The 2027 Year 7 Orientation Day for enrolled students will be held on Tuesday, 8th December 2026.

Other Year Levels
If you are interested in having a College tour outside of this time, these take place during school term by appointment only. Bookings can be made by contacting the College Office on (03) 5281 1755 or via email on [email protected]
A Later Years Information Evening will be held at the beginning of Term 3 (date to be advised) containing essential information on the range of subjects on offer (including VCE Units), the course selection process and supplying students and their families with student handbooks.
