Visual Arts
From the early years, students engage in hands-on experiences with drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics, building confidence and skills along the way. As they progress, they refine techniques, experiment with materials, and develop their own artistic voice which is celebrated in displays around the school and in the annual Visual Arts Display.
Our VCE Art Making and Exhibiting students take their learning further, deepening their understanding of artistic practice, design principles, and exhibition curation. Their studies are enriched through excursions to leading galleries and exhibitions, including the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (REACH Program), the National Gallery of Victoria, and Geelong Gallery, providing inspiration and real-world connections to contemporary artistic practices. In Media, students engage with film, photography, digital storytelling, and media production, developing skills in analysis, editing, and creative expression. They learn how media shapes society and apply industry-standard techniques to their own projects. In Visual Communication Design, students master design principles, technical drawing, and digital tools to create visually impactful works. They explore branding, architectural design, and illustration, building a strong foundation in visual problem-solving and communication

Our expanding Instrumental Music Program allows students to enhance their musicianship through individual lessons and ensemble participation, supporting their growth as confident and skilled performers.
