At Bannockburn P-12 College, our Foundation (Prep) to Year 12 Mathematics and Numeracy program aims to provide students with the necessary skills they need to thrive in the real world. We are passionate about offering a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that meets our students diverse learning needs and supports them to develop the confidence they need to succeed in Mathematics.

In the Later Years (Years 9-12), we offer a range of Mathematics subjects, including Practical Mathematics, General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, and Specialist Mathematics. For students interested in a more hands-on approach, we also provide tailored pathways for those wanting to do VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM). This flexibility ensures that every student has the option to choose a program that is relevant to their interests and career goals, whether it is in STEM, trades, business or any other field needing strong numeracy skills.

Beginning from Foundation, we are dedicated to hands-on, real-world learning that helps students apply their mathematical understanding to solve practical problems. Our enthusiastic Maths team is passionate about delivering a strong program, using effective teaching strategies to ensure that students learn in a positive and supportive learning environment. We achieve this by encouraging critical thinking, problem solving and logical reasoning so that the students are well equipped for further studies and life after school.
